Air Force Vocational College was founded in 1984 by AFVVVVA (Central) at its present location with a mission to promote intellectual and financial emancipation amongst women. Since then, this institute has grown in stature. To keep up with the changing scenario of the Industry it has been upgrading its courses from time to time.

The broad aim of the college is to give comprehensive training to young men and women irrespective of caste, creed and community and making them fit for employment in reputed business houses, educational institution, export houses, travel & tourism industry and to establish their own concerns effectively. This institution is being managed by 412 Air Force Station, New Delhi. Air officer commanding, 412 Air Force Station New Delhi is the Chairman of the College Management Committee.
